Moonstone Nail Polish is a hand-mixed, artisan nail polish line made using high quality ingredients. We use a Big 5-Free* base that is free from the nasties such as formaldehyde and toluene that are sometimes used in big brand nail polish. Our glitter nail polish is made using specially manufactured solvent resistant glitter and is tested for bleeding and curling before it is used in our products. The pigments and micas that we use do not contain any animal derived ingredients and all of our nail polish shades are vegan and cruelty-free!
*All Moonstone Nail Polish products are Big 5-Free, with the exception of our Holographic Top Coat, which is Big-4 Free as it contains Camphor.

- Full size polishes contain 12ml of product in sturdy, rectangle glass bottles.
- Nail colour shades, top coats, and base coat feature a wide, soft brush for easy application. Other nail care items such as cuticle oil and cuticle remover feature a standard size brush.
- Each bottle contains 2 stainless steel ball bearings to help shake it up!
- Moonstone Nail Polish is mixed by hand and as a result, slight variations between batches may occur.
- We endeavour to represent the colour of each nail polish as accurately as possible with the photos in each listing. However, due to different monitor settings and resolutions, colours may appear slightly different to the actual colour of the polish.
- Store in a cool place. Keep away from heat, flame, and sunlight and keep out of reach of children.

Follow our helpful hints to get the most out of your Moonstone Manicure! Please note that everyone has a different body chemistry and some may have different experiences with the same products because of this. Have fun, experiment, and find what works best for you!
APPLICATION
- Prep your nails! Make sure they are clean, filed, and oil free before you begin. Always use an acetone based nail polish remover on your bare nails before you apply base coat. This will remove and oil from the nail plate and allow the polish to adhere better to your nails!
- Always use base coat and top coat to ensure the longevity of your manicure and to prevent staining. For best results, use Moonstone Nail Polish Base Coat and Quick Dry Top Coat with your favourite Moonstone colour.
- Wrap your tips! After applying one coat of nail colour, remove most of the polish from the brush and gently sweep it across the edge of your free edge. Read a detailed tutorial here.
- Most shades will become opaque in 2-3 coats. For clear based glitter shades, they are best worn over a solid colour. Wait a few minutes between each coat and allow each layer to dry before applying the next layer. This will let your nails dry faster and prevent dragging.
- Some glitters may settle over time. To fix this, simply shake it up!
- TIP: for glitter shades with larger glitters, turn it upside down 10-15 minutes before use. This will ensure that you get the ultimate glitter payoff!
- Glitter-dense shades may dry to a slightly textured finish. You may wish to apply a second layer of top coat to smooth out the glitter and get a smooth, sparkly finish.
REMOVAL
- Glitter nail polish is notorious for being difficult to remove. We recommend using either a PVA base coat or the ‘foil method’. Click here for a great tutorial.
- For the easiest removal, use an acetone base nail polish remover. This type of remover may leave your cuticles feeling dry, so it's important to finish your manicure with some Moonstone Cuticle Oil to rehydrate.
